Here a shot of the ' 51 Ford my daughter and I are building,,, it's her car and as such her choice of "Rat Rod" designing,,, A couple years ago the wife asked for a D-I-V-O-R-C-E after 25 years in the saddle,,,, Kind of a shock to say the least,,, To keep a solid relationship with my 17 yr old daughter going,,, I placed an ad in the local newspaper, "Got $4000.00 looking for father / Daughter Project car!" Picked this 1951 Fordor up for $3750.00 out by Mt Rainier Washington,, (Great story on the Hunt for Sanity in the Hills!) It's been years since I dusted off my Paint and Body trade I worked in as a younger man, but it was fun training Monica to step and get involved. Monica did most all the body work, we prepped it together and sprayed it Flat Black with John Deer Industrial Enamel,,, Lake Pipes, Dummy Spots, and Split Exhaust were the next line of order as birthday presents,,, Mexican Seat Covers,,, and the House of Color Candy Lime Green Flame Job was all accomplished as a "Team on a Mission!" Monica is doing the accenting Pinstripping herself, and recently rolled over to some Rat Rod buddies here in Tacoma and dropped the her Sled 2" in the front and 2" in the rear,,,, Rebuilt V8 Flathead with a stock Fordomatic pushes this "Bad Dog" down the streets of T-Town! I just wanted to thank you for contributing to the unity of our family project by providing a solid dependable resource for authentic Ford Shoebox parts! Respectfully, Kelly and Monica Worden Tacoma Washington
